heated seats in my hoe?

2 years i drove from ct to nc to buy a car and right before i left for nc i had just registered my hoe. i didnt know anythign baout it and decided i wanted to drive it 1500 miles each way not knowing how the truck ran or whatnot. well halfway down there my seats get really hottttt. i dont have buttons on the seats or on the dash. how do i get the seats to be heated? it wasnt just from the heat or from me sitting on it i felt it and it was wayyyyy too hott how do i make them heated?
