best step shaver for an S10

I wanted some input on the plastic versus metal since there is a big price difference. give me your experiences before i buy some. thanks

Plastic or fiberglass is nice if you dont plan on molding it all together. I did a fiberglass kit on my stepside and had alot of problems with it cracking out. My advice would be go with the metal one but its all a matter of opinion.

pretty much sums it all up!

If your looking to mold it in the steel kit is your best bet. It will take some time to fit up and bodywork but the effort will be worth it. If your not looking to get into re painting or blending and heavy body work go with an abs or fiberglass version. Both will work well, you just need to decide on the best route for you.
