06 ram front setup

I know i have to rase the upper control arm My question is do i have to cut the stock spring cup out or can i use it and just make a cup kit and still use the stock spring cup?

best thing to do is cut the stock spring cup out, and make your own brackets for the front. Ive heard of people using their stock spring cup before, and ive also heard of those same people breaking their stock spring cup after a few hundred miles of daily driven abuse.

Just cut it all out, and make your own, it looks 100 times better, and is much stronger.

Another advantage of cuttin the spring pocket it out is lift....when you build your own bracket you can mount the bag closer to the pivot point of the LCA...thus giving you more lift. If your trying to lay a large wheel the lift will be needed....
