Motor swap in bd dime

So my Truck is stockfloored on 20/22 combo. I'm looking to get rid of my wiring mess under the hood with swapping to an old school motor. Currently have the stock v6 5 speed. Any suggestions? Was thinking About a straight 6 all polished out and painted. Any opinions?

just change out the intake and distributor and call it a day.

hey that stright 6 would be bad ass but it is a small truck i was thing you could do a v8 and carb it and run the wires on the back side of the motor i have done it on a s10 i had back in the day
