help fom L.A locals

Hey guys just looking for some nice shops and some local shows to check out,in town from canada staying in torrance with my wife and a buddy for the week. My wife is in a tanning course all day so we are just driving around checking things out. Went by a couple places, jeff at deviouse was great gave us a shop tour and hooked us up with a shirt really great guy and amazing work.. Any ideas would be great.
