I've recently bagged my '90 nissan hardboy with the reverse cando cantilever 4-link and i cant stop the hanger bearing from tearing apart. I've checked my pinion angle again and it's fine. Also tried raising the carrier for the bearing and still no help. Im thinking of going to a one piece but i wanted some opinions first.

Add a slip yoke. Your wheel arc pulls the axle forward and back much more than leaf springs ever did. About $150-200 with all new Spicer parts at any good driveline shop.

He is right. The Nissans use a flexible rubber mount to allow the driveshaft to plunge and your reverse 4-link most likely plunges too much and it is destroying the bearing. If you switch over to a telescoping rear driveshaft section, you will need to use a fixed carrier bearing.
