65 vw bug hoodride problem need help or info

howdy im lookin at purchaseing a 1965 vw bug 1600dp, dual carb, bagged, i test drove it today and it runs and drives fine. but if you go to take off quickly in first gear it shakes terrible. only does it in 1st gear... is it a shock problem, clutch, tranny,any ideas would help thank you for your time...

my 67 did that and im trying to remember why ...and for the life of me i can not remember why ... BUT if you call Dougs Bugs N Bunnys between 9-5 mon-fri and 12-4 on sat and talk to one of the guys there, they can tell you what it is, its a common problem you can reach them at (480) 962-1101

It could be the trans mount is bad or loose.... The bolts on mine had vibrated out and the trans was just floping around when you took off. I just purchased mine in September and love it these cars are so much fun and get too many looks.     So are you gonna buy it? Post some pics of it.
