I posted a question on ssm about watts link kits and suprisingly got no answer /sarcasm. I got a sarcastic comment on BYC and 2 guys telling stories about their watts link troubles.

So now i ask the DS what kind of watts link kits do you usually see being ran? I want to start making center cranks to replace the norm ones and i need to know A) Wich ones are most popular B) What are the measurements of the center cranks?
Hopefully this thread will get more info than the one on ssm did.

The ones I've seen being mostly used are the ones from Totally Polished, on the other hand, I've seen quite a few use the ones avaliable from Summit, Jegs, Speedway and places like that, mostly because the TP watts is $$ not wallet friendly. Other than that, the others where self made. Not sure of the measurements of the center cranks, but it may tell you on their web sites....... hope this helps man....

i did some measureing ont eh truck im abotu to start, i think if the holes are 10" aparts with a center hole at the 5"(hence the center) and make the whole link peice be 12" long it would look right. and i was thinking 9/16ths hole with some grade 8 harware should be plenty beefy.
