Whats up everyone? My names Thom. Im from Westville, IN. Ive been working on this truck for 3 years now..I bagged it 2 years ago, this time last year I tore it down for a body drop, carbed the 4.3 v6 cpi, new wiring harness, Autometer Colbalt gauges, got rid of the 5 speed and put a th350 behind the motor.. I drove the hell outta it this summer. Well now it is back under the grinder...
Im backhalfn it, parallel 4 link with watts, baggs on rear bar, new mounting for fuel cell, new tanks, and so on and so on.. ill post some pics from first bag job thru body drop, then some of the recent work being done. Please chim in on this, give suggestions. I have a plan on this but that plan changes daily...

This is what it looked like after the bag job 3 years ago..

here are several thru the body drop.

I love that you put your wife to work on it! Thats almost as good as chicks who drive motorcycles. Truck looks great. Fit and finish is killer.

here are some updates... first off i was having troubles fitting the rear lift bars with a 285 tire on.. so i brought the rails in a few more inches and shortned the drop on the frame after the notch...also i built a driveshaft cross member, and fabbed up some compressor mounts..Ordered some more tube tonight so i can finish the bracing on the front of the backhalf and then move on to actual mounting of the link. In the pics i mocked up the 4 link to see how it looks... GREAT, these pics dont do justice... you decide!!!

What's up with updates man? I have been creeping around here for a while and came across this piece of s@*t. I'm just messing with you Tommy, it's Thomas man. I'm the a hole thats making these brackets and crap for Tommy's truck. I know you are further along than this, get those pics up. I figured I would join the site and start a build thread on my bodydrop/suspension on the 91 4 door Jimmy. Maybe it will persuade me to get off my butt and get some work done to her. Now update the pics! I have those upper bag brackets I made for you, they are in my truck so if you want to come up to my work or have me drop them off let me know.
