ATTENTION SHOP OWNERS AND EMPLOYEES!!!

ok so i got a buddy of mine wanting some work done and i was curious what u guys would charge at your shops roughly....desnt need to be an exact price, just an estimate. the truck is a 1990 single cab hardbody. please give me individual prices on each job so that he can see what each would normally cost at a shop...

fiberglass center console for a high end 10 sub, prepped for paint-?full skin and taillight fillers prepped for paint-?shaved gas door-?shaved door handles/ mirrors-?shaved turn signals-?phantom grille-?toyota front bumper-?4" lowering blocks in rear and lowering the torsion arm tension-?fiberglass door panels wit pods for 3 speakers in each prepped for paint-?custom flush mount jaguar tailights-?remove bench seat and fab brackets for racing seats-?and what are u guys charging per hour for bodywork?basic front beake job-?

all i need is for u guys to copy what ive wrote and paste it in with prices instead of question marks.

a lot of people would rather you call them then to post this stuff up on the web. It sounds like you might know someone starting a shop and they know nothing about prices and you want to get a general deal. Not that I am saying that is what you are doing, but some might take it that way. All those things are easy to do and buy except the speaker box, need a little experience with fiberglass for that.

thats why i posted this on here...im doing the work for someone i know, ive got experience and actually its already half way done so im not gonna start callin all the shops around the country...the thing is that hes questioning the pricing even tho i know im doin it really cheap since its a friend so i just wanted some shops to post their normal shop rates so that he can see for himself that hes getting a very good deal...i know about pricing but he doesnt so thats what this is for

We charge by the hour if that helps...

what does labor go for these days? $80 to $160 an hour?

Not being a dick, but I dont think people are going to sit and price all that out knowing they are not really estimating a job that they may get. Make sense?

im getting all my shit done for $55/hr. not a big name shop but they do great work.
