Honestly if you do your homework and are an educated consumer, the salesman has very little do to with the transaction. I have never met a salesman that knew more about the truck i wanted to buy than me. I allways find exactly what im looking for and then search for that exact vehicle, then if you have to drive to get it then so be it, but I wouldn't drive 30 miles to deal with a particular salesman. I definatly wouldn't let the salesman point you to what truck you should buy. The nissan guy will tell you nissan and the dodge guy will tell you dodge, thats their job. Find out what you want and what you want to spend, and lay it out for them. If they can sell you the truck they will. Thats all there is to it. Just my .02 though.
