my friend just got a colorado and i was wondering if he could tow his 1994 s-10 ext cab with it or is it too much weight?It is a I-5 i belive

unless he is using a tow bar to tow with he is not gonna get far even with a tow bar i would only do it to move it in town

not safe at all IN my opion..

s-10 = not safe

my dad has a 4 door colorado with the i-5 and bought a aluminum featherlite trailer to pull his race car(65 nova).it pulls like a champ i only have pics of it pulling my civic.if you used a steel trailer you might start pushing the envelope but who knows.

extended cab s-10s are freakin heavy, I think something like 4,000 lbs is what my buddies is(not sure, that was a long time ago when we last looked at it). You should be able to find the weight on the tag on the door panel. Car haulers usually weighs 1500 - 2000 pounds. Google the towing capacity of that truck, it probably will be really close, and get ready for 6 mpg
