Is a drive shaft tunnel from the back cab wall to a bout half way in the cab necessary so the drive shaft wont hit the bottom of the cab. it seems mine needs it but totally not sure, i guess it's obvious.is this a popular problem or what?

I guess you are asking how far up you need to make the drive shaft tunnel

I would just trim a little at a time, and leave a couple inches incase you decide to go with bigger wheels.

well im asking for pictures of interior where tunnel is fabbed. i realize it hits my crossmember but just want some good pics.i dont notice too many people doing this on toyotas, only some but all are bagged.....weird.

its probably because ex cabs and longbeds have a 2 part shaft. and some guys have shorter tires, so it doesnt go as high into the truck. or they're like a guy i worked with and they know it hits but dont drive laid out. because it spins against the sheetmetal. his was an s10 not bodied on 18s an 20s.

there is a cab x member thats right there above the drive shaft at the rear of the cab that has to be notched and i usually rehoop it under the d/s that should be good for an 18" if you have a 20" then theres a lil extra bracing on the underside floor where if you notch it then you'll clear a 20" w'o coming thru the floor unless you have a big bodydrop
