I have an 89 crew cab dually and im in the process of bodydropping it and I know i will need to shorten my control arms. I am running 22" semi wheels and the lugs will hit the fender if I dont. I was just wanting to know what the best way to do it and if anyone has any pics of how they did it. I have a few ideas just looking for a little help thanks

Try and narrow the front clip instead of the a arms if you can. By just narrowing the arms you will jack the geometry of the front suspension up in a bad way. The 89 is still the square body, correct? If it is does it use a bolt in front x member like the 1/2 ton trucks did? If so check out some of the builds on the IF site, I know that that is something the routinly do on that style of x member to narrow the track width. It will be less work to do that than it will be to narrow 4 control arms in the end and you will have a truck that steers and handles as it was designed to.
