Wheel adapters VS Bolting right up

Whats better? Using a wheel adapter to run wheels that dont necessarily fit your ride? Or buying wheels that just bolt right up?

it depends on what kind of wheel you want. if you have the space to run adapters, and you have to for the wheel you really like i say do it. otherwise, find something that fits. id love to have the selection that adapters give me for my yota, but i dont have the 25mm they add. finding a +40 on a 7" is hard enough for a good price.
