I personally know 2 people who drive on a 25 series...not even daily...just frequently...one guy replaced 3 wheels and 2 tires last year...the other guy replaced 4 wheels and 4 tires last year. Freeman from Aftermath Ohio didn't make it to one show without having to replace 2 wheels that broke on him on the way to the show. I think he eventually towed it home.....Like I said good luck.

My first set of rims were 20s with a 245/35, drove on them daily for 2 years, my second set of rims were 22s with 255/30 and they rode way better than the 20s, I have had them for 4 years now daily driving. Your sig says doored on 24s and driven daily??? this will not be my daily but will be my weekend warrior. I still dont think that 1/4" sidwall is going to make that big of a deal. Just wait till Kumho tires brings out there 15 and 20 series tires. Now thats crazy.

On an 8 inch wide wheel correct...there's a big difference between a 255 on a 8 inch wheel and a 275 on a 10 inch wide wheel. I put a 275/25/24 on a 2004 Impala....dude busted 2 wheels in one weekend....stepped up to the 255/30/24 and hasn't had a problem since....and the wheel were 24x9's. My tire size is irrelevant to the conversation as it's a 295/35/24 with an diameter of 32.12 its nearly 3/4 larger and wider than your 275/25/26. I wish you luck man and hope it works out for you...I was just giving you a heads up.
