how much are people paying to get bumpers chromed?

im thinkin about finding like a blazer or bronco rear bumper for my ramcharger, and shaving the holes and having it rechromed. anybody know what a decent price range that would run? i never paid attention when we had stuff sent out at the shop. i know, rcs had smooth rear bumpers too, but i dont like how it looks. i want it to have a bit more depth and/or fullness to it. and have ends that arent so angled. i dunno. maybe ill just cut it up and use that.

also, post some pictures of bumpers. i thought about runnin a front off something too. i guess ill know what i want when i see it. i dont want a roll pan. or a step bumper. done both of those already. haha.

I paid $300 to get my front bumper re chromed on my f150, but I went straight to the source. A lot of "chroming places" don't do there work on site, they subcontract out the work so it takes a lot longer and costs more. I had been quoted $475-500 from multiple places and then found out where they were sending the work and went right to them.

damn. thats pretty high. i seem to remember a local place doing a few bumpers, a grill and some small parts for a 70 benz for like 700 bucks. then again, your truck has a large bumper with some recessed areas. so, a fairly flat rear should be less. i dunno. thanks man. anybody else?
