kbb.com says around $6250. but i'd expect to pay around $10k from what i've seen since they are not as common, especially one in mint condition with low miles. i assume you are talking about the one on ebay located in OK? price seems decent, but i wouldn't call that one mint. hurry, it ends in 2.5 hours. lol it also says it was ran on propane all its life. never heard of someone doing that.

They are not worth much at all , but will be further down the line if its a one owner, original paperwork truck . I sold a 1990 454ss with 32,000 miles mint for 8000.00 when the Economy was rolling strong . Check out Ebay , you will notice extremely high 10,000-20,000 prices for them but they never sell . Good luck with it .

If you are looking for that style of truck, I would also check out the old lightings. My 94 would out run any naturally aspirated SS with 100 less cubic inches under the hood.

The 454ss was a 1/4 mile truck shackled from the factory for safety reasons , but also weighed a ton it was 4500++Lbs . Just doing away with the Peanut port cylinder heads turned the engine into a monster . The 454SS in 1990 and 91 had no overdrive which led to whinding out - which meant horrible racing on street after first couple hundred feet . With a Gear vendor which gave the extra gear . Not many had the extra 3000 to do it though .

Both the Lightning and 454SS are nice older trucks , just watch for rollbacks on miles since they came with the old style Odometer . You can easily tell the condition/Miles by looking at the Brake/Gas pedals

I believe it was back in January when economy was supposedly still going good, I noticed a black SS on side of road. It looked to be in real good shape. No small dings or scratches. Everything was original it said on for sale sign. But no price. So I look up blue book value and I believe it was around $6,000. Don't remember though. So i call and the guy says $12,500. I don't question why but he says its all original with low miles. I hang up the phone and 2 days later i notice the truck gone. Then when gas starts getting outrageous (probably 5-6 months later), I notice the same truck in an actual car lot. Sticker said $10,000. I moved to a different city about a week or so after that so I dont know how much he got for it. But like the previous people have said, the blue book value on those trucks doesn't matter. It's what people are willing to pay for them
