yes, unbolt the front panel, fender supports, tailgate, inner fender plastic and remove them first. Strip the paint off of anywhere you are going to need to weld before you cut it apart. Mark out where you are going to cut the rear floor of the bed somewhere past the end of the frame rails. Mark out with masking tape how much you want to remove from the inside of the bed sides. Dont forget to strip the paint on both sides of the tape. Be sure to slice through the wheelwell braces because if you dont the bed floor wont come apart. On the inner side cuts, cut below the tape first, make your top cut last(easier to cut a few inches off this way because the bed rails keeps everything from flaping) and keep it as close to the rails as possible to hide the welds. Weld the sides up, weld in a filler panel back by the tailgate, and drill some holes in the front panel so it can be bolted back on. You will have to add some washers to keep the panel from being drawn in when bolted back on. Make new bedside supports and bolt them on so your fenders dont flap in the wind. Thats about it. If you have anymore questions just ask.

Oh yea, I hope all your bolts come off and not snap from corrosion like they do here in Pennsylvania.

I do not have any pics of a mazda bed bodydropped this way, someone else on here should be able to help you on that. start searching through the owner profiles/rides section under community while you wait, you might find something.
