custom gas door ideas????

so im building my bed kit in my s10... Ive already shaved my gas door, and im trying to figure out a nice clean solution to mount my gas filler... I've seen the hagan hot rod style doors and like them.. im curious what most of you guys are using....

if anyone has any suggestions, or pictures of custom fuel doors/caps/fillers post them up... im mainly looking to see them mounted up in the bed of a truck...

just looking for ideas, Thanks guys!!!

make your own with cabinet parts.  there was a thread on here awhile back about pop up gas doors. someone suggested using the magnet pop up latch off of a cabinet. or find a cool gas door from a car in the yard and cut it out and put it in the bed. i think horkeys makes a hinge kit for there woodbed floors.

you can do a tilt bed and hide the filler under it when you need to fill up just lift the bed

I tend to try to utilise something stock off something else instead of shaving it off. Cut the surrounding metal out and flip it around so you got a suicide gas door!

hahaha... im not really into the whole tilt bed idea just to keep my gas door hidden... no offense or anything...

im actually thinking of picking up a hot rod style or chopper style gas filler bung and a cool cap and calling it a day...

my toyota tank is raised in the stock location(behind passenger). i used a weld in flushmount chopper cap just under my passenger door latch.people look at me funny at the gas station...it looks like im filling my interior with gas.
