I am getting a '77 Chevy C20 crew cab. Most items I find for lowering/bagging are for the C10 or C30. I want to use this for towing so switching to C10 stuff is out of the question due to loss of towing capacity. I know I can put in a C30 front crossmember which is an option, but did they ever make a C30 that was not a dually? I want to keep the regular 8 lug hubs but all I have ever seen are dually C30s.

Or could I just keep the C20 crossmember and swap in the C30 drop arms and drop spindle without messing up the suspension geometry? Thanks

C20 and C30 Spindles are the same, and yes they made C30 single wheel trucks. So the C30 stuff will work with the ball joint on your arms. The crossmember and arms are also the same on all C20s/C30s that I have ever seen. also do a search on Duallyscene.com, lotsa info over there.

So I can buy C30 spindles and control arms, throw them in and put the C20 brake stuff on the C30 drop spindles? (just making sure I read it correctly) Thanks

Yeah, this i s what a lot of guys are doing to tuck semis on BD trucks. Where are you looking at getting C30 drop control arms?

If I decide not to bag it, I am not sure yet. Any suggestions?
