Full frame from the firewall back, longbed conversion, 22's all the way around, "halfgate" (half skin/half tailgate), one-off hood, and a lot more work this winter!!! Some other really sick ones are... This thing is the lowest static drop I've seen on a Colarado... it's dope! --------------------------------------------- my vote is for your colorado hands down

I was at my local shop today and they had a guy's colorado in for some flood damaged electronics.  My mechanic said the guy bought it from an insurance company after it had been flooded.  It was a 2007 colorado crew cab fully loaded z71(?) 4x4 with 14,000 miles.  The mechanic said he only paid $2,500 and it had a clean title.  They had to clean it out, replace the wiring/computer/fuse block, window motors, window seals, and the speakers.  The truck looked clean and smelled clean, and ran like a top.  It was in water over the hood.  I want to know what company is selling cars like these.  I would have bought it in a heartbeat.  You could have sold the sheetmetal for more than it was worth.

Now it seems like Colorados and Canyons are coming up EVERYWHERE!!!! I have seen so many renderings/starts of projects/etc. that I know I'm gonna have to go all out to get on top of the custom Colorado game! So be on the lookout for some new tricks come April/May. I also recently uploaded some new pics, check em out  - Downtime Matt

If it was just roadstered, and didn't have the angle cut  windows and B-Pillar I would agree 100%

--------------------------------------------- Originally posted by BabyYouWish If it was just roadstered, and didn't have the angle cut  windows and B-Pillar I would agree 100% --------------------------------------------- Yes when we built it it took a loooong time for it to grow on me, too.  After a while though its really one of the things that makes the truck, we drew our inspiration from the foose built Thunderbird roadster.  When it was at SEMA Chip actually walked up to it and mouthed the words "bad ass" and proceeded to walk on... theres a white crew cab one somewhere in jersey that shows up in MT from time to time that was built by us as well, stock floored,  suicide rear doors, 20's, we have another one we are building right now, that will be pretty spectacular as well, 20 and 22 combo 5 lug converted big offset rear wheels, its actually the black primered one above with the red accents on the wheels, a little after ITB where that pic was taken he got rear ended and decided to do something a little different, look for it out this summer... Good luck with all your alls projects,  and im diggin the Long bed crew cab...
