220 volts wiring?? need help

do any of you live in a house or duplex and the garage didnt have 220 volt wiring? what would or did you do to get 220 out to the garage? I am contemplating running a long extension cord from dryer to the garage but that would be about 70 feet . not too mention that it would have to go thru the damn houyse and out the front door. any help would be apppreciated

i just added a breaker to my box & put an outlet in the garage, but i guess i'm lucky cause that's where my panel is already...

 

 

do you live in a duplex?corey. do i need to go off the damn breaker or from the dryer
