i have a 2003 dodge ram that has a 5/7 drop on it. right now i have the stock 20s on it and im wanting to go to a 22. what offset are you guys running and what size tire. im looking at 265/35/22 tire, which is close to the size im running now. also i plan on bagging the truck soon after the wheels so having the wheels tuck is a must. thanks for the help.

http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp for tire sizes.   you need at least +25mm offset to tuck & you'll probably still have to trim the lips & maybe flare fenders.

it depends on the width of the wheel. i havent seen 22s narrower than 8.5" so, do the old trick to measure it yourself. hang a string with washers on it from the inside of the fender lip. measure from it to the brake rotor when its at stockish height (similar to aired up) and at your current height (probably similar to bagged ride height for most people). then once you have that number, you can see that youd want 1/2"-1" space between the fender at least. dont over do it, because it will make you have rubbing issues on the inside (control arms, steering parts, frame, shocks, ect). once you have your outside rim location figured out. add the rim width to that, and you should be able to do the math to figure out the backspacing/offset. if anybody cares, i have a chart that converts offset to backspacing i can post.
