Anybody got any suggestions of air ride products to use?  I have a 1964 Impala that needs an elevation adjustment.  I'm running a 22-20 wheel combo.

Do you mean AirRide brand parts or just what parts to use if you are going to bag it yourself?

I'm looking for some guidance as to what brand parts are good and whats crap.  I've researched a little, and found several kits with brackets.  They all seem to come with different parts.  I've installed several hydraulic setups, so i have a good mechanical sense and understanding of how the systems work, but  I have no clue as to who's air parts are dependable and what's made in china crap.  Do you have any suggestions as to what parts to buy seperately or what kit to buy?  Also, do you have any installation tips, such as shock relocation or anything like that?  I've only had my hands on 2 air bag installs and that was in the late 90s.  I'm sure times have changed since then.

The only thing that I can say to watch out for is the size of the front bags. A lot of times, in order to make installation easier, companies will set up their kits with too small of a bag.  What that does is make for a stiff ride with limited lift. If you plan on spending any quality time with your vehicle, make sure to use a Firestone 224c or equivalent part on the front. The back has too many options to say specifically what to use, but it's not as hard to use the right part in the rear so chances are that it will have something that is at least close to what you should be using.

Thanks.  I did notice the front bags were smaller in some kits.  I'm going to install in the next mont or so.  I'll try to post some pics elsewhere on here when done.

we use a firestone 224c with our cool ride kit for the x frames

although when we develop our kits some vehicles ride, handle and perform better with a smaller bag. the GM A body for example paired with a 255c rides and handles awesome even with a 540 merlin in it
