I HAVE A B2200 AND A WEBER CARB ,  THE LOW PROFILE FILTER IS STILL HITTING THE HOOD, I DO NOT WANT TO SECTION THE HOOD UNDERSTRUCTUR,
THE TRUCK HAS A STOCK FLLOR BODY DROP OF THREE INCHES, THE MOTOR STAYED IN ITS ORIGINAL SPOT, JUST   LOWERED THE FRONTFRAME HORNS, DOWN AND BEHIND THE MOTOR AND BEHIND THE CAB, NEW BED MOUNTS.
TRIED THE CUSTOM PLENUM FROM K &N  #851060/851061AND THE MIN PLENUM FOR THE DGV #858291 AND THE DANG THING STILL WONT CLEAR, THEY WERE ACTUALLY TALLER.  HELP PLEASE!!  WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING TO CLEAR THE HOOD

Twistedminis  has lowered motor mounts for the Mazda that would take care of your problem.

yeah. get some mounts from seth. roughly 1inch of drop. maybe variants of more or less. or you can try to cut down the stock square filter and rebend the clamps.

I just did a set of modifuied stock motor mounts for a guy today that is suffering a similar issue. He is 2 3/8 BD  and we dropped the engine 3/4 of an inch to gain a little bit of clearance against the hood bracing to fit a billet air cleaner on a Weber carb.  If you need to drop more than 3/4 of an inch you will need to modify the center link for the steering. I do a modified stock mount for 60 a pair,  if you are looking for a set hit me up.

I just cut my air cleaner down a little bit. Then redid the top and made new metal clips for it. I got a 3" bodydrop on my Mazda. But now I have the drop motor mounts from seth and I clear the shortest weber air cleaner fine.

The B2600i hood has a clear spot in the bracing that will give you about a half inch of clearance without modifying the hood. The normal B2600i hood, not the one with the bubble. I've also cut out that small section of bracing an didn't have any problems with the hood getting wobbly or anything.   Dropping the engine without trying to drop the tranny about the same isn't good, it puts extra angle into the u-joint at the yoke. I would try to add a 1/4" or 1/2" spacer between the frame and transmission cross member to drop it down a little bit and help keep everything in check.
