only high beam lights

on my 93 i only have high beams and when i click it to reg drive lights the high beam dash light is still lit ...what would make this happen

i would assume the high/low switch is stuck in the high position. stick might move but its probably not accepting a new signal. if i remember right, you take the steering wheel off and the column covers off, and you should be able to remove the whole setup. clean all the contacts and connections in it. it should work after that. i did that on my 78 and things worked better. there is also a light relay under the dash somewhere, but that would keep the highs from working too.

ok thanks ill try and clean the parts ...well  i got some other work to do that i have to take all that out so ill try that when i try and find some other problem
