so i made a bet with my girl

let me fill you in. me and my girl been datin for 3 years. she doesnt bitch alot but since weve been datin she has never seen it completely finished and boy does she bitch about that.  i dropped it 3/4 on 22s and built a full custom interior. then i sent it to ekstensive to get layed out. i built the interior again.(by the way building the interior for me means re-upholstering the seats, rewrapping most of the plastics in a different material, build a new sub box, completely swap out all the audio components and rebuild the custom door panels from scratch.) then shit got beat up and i couldnt keep the same interior so now im in the process of redoing the interior(for the last time hopefully) and i am bodyworking the truck to two-tone it. the bet : finish the truck completely by scrapin the coast 09 or she gets a coach purse, of her choice. by the way 40 hour plus work week with regular day job, 20 plus spent on customers interiors for the side job. then im in the middle of getting everything legit to open my own interior shop. also, my dad is paralyzed on one side of his body so through all that, ima physical therapist and a caretaker too lol...i think i got myself into trouble. what yall think? anybody else do the same thing for motivation? just had to get it out that i think im an idiot lol thanks

i honestly don't know what to say... on the 1 hand, you have a girl that actually wants you to spend money on your truck & actually wants you to get it done!!!   on the other hand, you have a girl that would actually spend $300-500 on a fkn purse!!   i guess i'm lucky to have married a Wal-Mart girl...if i even THOUGHT of buying my wife a bag that spendy, i think she'd kick ME in the nuts!!  she'd take it back & get like 1000 whole outfits from wally world or target or something  thats cool though, whatever it takes to get it done...good luck buddy...  BTW i hope that didn't sound like i was bashing your girl, i was just teasing...  

I would take it for what its worth... She is TELLING you to work on your truck!!!! My wife doesn't love my truck but doesn't complain that I work on it when I do but ALSO doesn't want me to spend more time on it then with her... No matter how much faster it gets done..

try your best to finish the truck by when you said you would try to have it done, surprise her and get her the purse anyways before the time you guys bet on, then you take her to STC and she has a fancy purse to show off and you can show off a new interior job
