I am tempted to buy a toyota 4 runner (90-95 body style) and i want the rear end to look like a smooth toyota pickup rear end. But all the pics i see of 4 runners the rear end is different cause of the bumper. Anyone know how hard it would be to graft in the bottom section (rollpan etc) of a pickup onto a 4 runner to make it smooth?

ive seen it done. i think you just get the bottom of the bedsides and make it work. i vote for keeping the bumper.

i can't find any pics of a 4runner without a rear bumper (with a roll pan in place)

That truck was done with Toyota lower bedside and grabed a piece of sheetmetal and bent it for the roll pan.  Truck was built by Jeremy Kauffman at Go-Ez Customs.
