Hi everyone,
I'm looking at a parts truck for my 76... the truck i'm looking at is a 76 supercab 2wd short box with a 300/4spd (rebuilt 24k ago). The guy tells me to make him an offer, I want a good deal, but i don't want to undercut him horribly- what do you think?
The truck has been sitting there for about 6 years under a tarp, needless to say there is some rust, not a horrid amount, but some. The fuel tank needs to be flushed, the front end pretty much needs to be replaced (suspension and nose) and it hasn't ran one time in the last 6 years.
I'm mainly wanting the cab (maybe the bed too) and the motor any ways for my truck- what do you think is fair?
I've seen on craigslist recently a number of longbed 3/4 tons go anywhere from 200 to 1000 ranging from body only's to running work trucks.
