shaved wiper cowl f150

has anyone done this. i know you can buy smooth cowls but they still have the cutout for the wiper and i dont have wipers. I was thinking just to glass the factory one and smooth it out. good idea?  yes, no, maybe,.... ?  pretty sure catch 22 has a totally smooth one. any info on that?  another question is i drive this truck and i realize that the cowl vents are there for a reason so is this a bad idea?  or should i shave it but also get a factory one and switch em out from when im showing or driving? 

I think they make them. or they use to. Just buy the one with wipers and mod it.... I have one laying around that I thought about doing it to awhile back

i glassed mine and it cracked about a month later.  maybe i just didnt do it right.  i also had a problem remounting it back on when it was smooth.  i ended up just drilling out the factory holes.  i didnt have wipers, and didnt wanna buy the aftermarket one with holes in it either.  you could buy a junkyard cowl and try to glass it yourself.  good luck.

you can get the one from street scene and smooth it..i've had mine smoothed (no wiper holes) for about a year now with no problems..
