how bad of an idea are they? im having a hard time finding wheels i like in 5on135mm. i really want kmc novas. woul wheel adapters be a bad idea on a daily? is there any other options?

i have 1 1/2" wheel spacers on my ranger, i have driven many many many miles on them and havent had a problem, just use blue lock tite on the lugluts that hold on the adapter and you shouldnt have any problems... the only reason i run these adapters is because its alot cheaper to buy wheels for fwd cars... one day ill be able to afford some nice billet wheels

i drove the hell out of my fullsize for 6 years on the same set with fwd wheels and never had any problems. dunno if it helped but every 3 oil changes or so i would rotate my tires and check them with the torque wrench. i also run adapters on the rear of my isuzu.

so if i run adapters i wont be able to run a wheel with a big lip?

just hammer your wheel studs in toward each other.. and you will have a normal patern

i was just sonna cut them off and weld bolts on in a 7x129.8545 pattern id have the same luck with wheels
