k so I have purchased one of AVS' flush mount third brake lights and I am putting it on a 29 model A pickup that I am building.  I need some pointers on sanding it down and painting over it so you only see it when it's lit up.  any help would be greatly appreciated.

we mixed alil of the base in w/ the clear on my girl's mustang third brake light and sprayed i think 3 light coats, and it worked out fine.

it needs to stick out just a little.once you got the primer ready then spray your base coat and clear. then you want to block sand over it until the plastic breaks through and is even with the paint around it . then you can lightly spray some base over the light to hide it and then another coat of clear on the whole panel.  should end up perfectly smooth and depending on how much base you shoot over the light it shouldnt be easy to see until lit up
