i have 2 sets of 4x4 fenders for my hardbody, 1 set is totally stock and never been cut on, and the other set has been cut for a yota bumper. with that said i wasnt planning on running a yota bumper, so i need to know if there is enough sheet metal still there from the alteration for the bumper or do i need to use the virgin fenders for this mod, i dont want to chop up the cut up set just to find out i needed the extra metal that was there cuz then id be out a set of fenders and like everyone else im a broke ass....

I would recommend using the virgin ones, having that tail come down on each side of the wheel well will help you graft them in and have it look more smooth. I have seen it done both ways tho. you can always graft in just the upper parts and flare the bed into them. the arches arent the same. Im sure if you look through the owner profiles you will find a few pics of someone grafting them in also.

well ive already started on 1 side and this is as far as i got with them, im kinda stuck on gettin the lip to match up, i was thinkin of cutting the lip on the bedside and bend it out til it matches up with the fenders lip....i need some input on what will be the best or eastiest way to do this.....heres a few pics of what im talkin about....

Cant tell for sure from teh pics, but could you cut 1 inch below the boby line, all the way across (front to back) , drop the lip untill the fender lip and bed lip line up, then put a filler strip in..... it would meke the rear rim tuck harder too...... Just a thought

you should use the whole fender and also take note the fenders do have a "slant" to them make sure they are "pointed" in the same direction!!!!
