awesome!! thanks for the info.. this is all helping out tremendously... im slowly planning it out!  got my hubs all redrilled today.. slowly but surely ill get it all together.. i was thinking, on the stock lower rear arms they just have a slotted hole on the one mount,   and then the control arm itself has that lil arm attached to it, is this simply there to allow for the toe adjustment? if so i dont see why we couldnt do the same on ours as the stock, just reuse that arm and slot the tab.. ill get a pic to clarify what im talking about.. i apologize for the pm. was gonna pm you it, then decided to post it here, forgot to delete the pm and accidentally sent it lol    Trevor

It looks like a slotted tab would do the trick to me.

ok now this is all coming back to bite me in the ass....max i wished i had a chance to pick your brain this weekend but i was so busy and i am sure you were there for a vacation and not so much teaching....any whooooo......so after some messin around i am running into binding issues and i am concerned about my IRS articulation......i set my chunk 1" off the ground thinkin that was plenty of clearance and that made my CV @ 6.5"......i failed to take into account the size wheel and overall droop......so here is my pickle....i have been advised i should have moved my chunk up about 3 more inches from the start....lookin at this seems like it will eliminate some binding of the CV as well as some of the articulation issue i will get into now.....i will be runnin a 22" wheel w/ and overall height just under 30" or so.....as i cycle the suspension as it site my wheel moves in about 2-3" if not more and i am sitting about 5 deg of camber roughly....is this a normal occurance or is it possibly how i setup my arms? if you notice in my profile pics i angled the lower knuckle tabs. Does this have any effect on geometry? the stock ones had a similar mount......previously in this thread you mentioned CV placement at half the overal height of the wheel/tire combo......correct me if i am wrong here but if i placed my CV centerline @ 15" from the bottom of the frame my CV axle would be parallel to the ground when laid out.....i was under the impression it is best to have CV axles parallel to the ground at ride height....i am about over all this and i am already cutting the front clip off in favor of a toyota clip since nothing up front is working since i decided to go with the bigger 4runner and larger wheels......now i am rethinking the rear altogether and i already feel i may have to ciut it all off and redo that section......nobody said it was gonna be easy but damn......my next frame is gonna be kick ass after all i am learning here....thanks in advance tony

Your geometry is all messed up. The inner pivots are further apart (top to bottom) than the knuckle pivots. That's a total no-no.

correct the knuckle is 7-7/8 and my mounts are 9"....so i assume you would want both arms parallel to each other with the inner pivots of the UCA, LCA, and CV axle to be on the same plane similar to what we discussed on an IFS with the tie rod pivots in relation to the arm pivots....is this correct a idea.....if my CV inner pivot isnt on this plane will my CV bind......what about the center chunk placement.....like i said mine is lower than most i see and i noticed i am going to bind my axles as it sits.....so i think raising it and fixing the arms may be the solution but what do you think.......that does mean cutting the entire section out and redoing it but if that is what it takes then so be it.....i would call but i dont wanna be a pest....i know you have paying customers jobs to do.
