Hey guys, new here, I need to buy some shocks and don't really know where to look. After reading the threads about this it seems a lot of guys follow thru with bilstein's. Is there a little cheaper shock that can compare? I know your supposed to buy the best first time around but I just can't afford them and need something quick. Thanks.

I have been running toxic's on my toyota for three years and never have had a problem with them, They are probably the only drop shock I will ever run

I used Toxic Shock on my dime for the 5 years that I had it and never had an issue with them. I only ran them in the back and they road great. I did not have shocks out front. I have Bistein's  on my lifted Titan and yes they are a good shock but for the price and being a drop shock you can't go wrong with Toxic.

i use 84-94 toyota rear shocks and they are the $15each one at advance auto parts they ride nice and for that price you can replace them every 25k miles or so all shocks are gonna wear out with bags quicker then usual but i use these for the front and rear on my trucks they are short enough and easy to mount and easy to come by auto parts keep them in stock

napa makes a nice product too. they are pretty stiff but break in nicely. not too bad on the pricing either. just did new fronts for my yota a couple months ago. well worth the money. toxics have been around for along time, and i havent heard anything bad. or like the one guy said just get a stock one and keep fresh ones in it. get a stiffer replacement for that app if you want a stiffer shock.
