Is it possible? Has anyone done this, I think it would work good with a body dropped mazda but not sure. Its so hard to find a t5 top loader trans, any suggestions?

Its so hard to find a t5 top loader trans, any suggestions? ---------------------------------------------Depends on the Transmission used . Also easiest is to use the GM bellhousing , sometimes the Bearing retainer needs to be machined down or purchase a machined down one for 40-60 bucks . Most likely you will use the 4spd or 5spd manual. The lower holes can just be drilled , for the upper 2 which need to be e-longated on the transmission side or have the bellhousing holes tig welded shut and re-tapped . There are alot more steps though plus the clutch    Overall I would suggest purchasing Novaks Clutch retro-fit which is around 200 which retro-fits the GM bellhousing/Clutch to the Ford   EDIT NOTICED AFTER THAT YOU ARE USING THE T-5 Transmission
