een REALY busy lately with work, plus with the cold weather i haven't had time to work on the truck in a while. But i figured since it won't get done for awhile i'll go ahead and post some pics of what i've been doing to her. Hoping to finish up once it gets alittle warmer.


the guy that had the truck before me must have gone to macco lol
 


stripped it to the metal and re-etched and primed it
 


started scuffing the cab to get silvered again
 


little weather stripping trick
 


recruited the GF lol
 


 


 


 


fixed the bed rail damage
 


based and started for the graphic
 


after this pic i added some rootbeer candy to add some "rust" and also did the rivets

Very cool concept and it looks like you know what your doing with an airbrush and striper as well. Can't wait to see the truck completed.

Can't wait to see the truck completed. --------------------------------------------- thanks, i dropped art school for painting cars, so it was kind of any easy thing to pick up, but i'm def still learning.  I got supper lucky and found a guy 8 miles from home with a bike shop looking for a painter that in his words "hasnt leared alot of bad habits yet" lol so i couldn't be happier with the way it worked out.  he def knows a thing or two about painting...
