any one know what the longest cylinder you can run on the front of an s10 is? Buddy of  mine said I could run 10" in front, would 10" work or would I end up breakin ball joints? thanks in andvance for any help!

Y is an 8" not gonna work?

an 8 will work but if I could run a 10 I figured more lift wouldnt hurt. Its not a daily driver just a truck to have fun with

8 is the most i would go with

8's are ideal...a 10 will stick up too high and interfere with engine components.  You could probably squeeze a 10 in there if you wanted to extend your upper control arms which is the "lowrider" thing to do.

8 is the biggest needed and a 10 isnt going to give you more lift at all.  the suspension has its travel range and an 8 fulfills that.  the only reason i have ran a 10 or 12 inch cylinder in front before was so only half of the cylinder would ever be extended at full lift and that mean lessened wear and tear on the cylinder bushing and seals..   as for extended the control arms/"lowrider thing" its to fix the camber when the vehicles are locked up and for longer lasting tires... and also an advantage for hopping.
