I know it's been done quite a bit already but I am looking for some better information.

I am just wondering if anyone knows some good kits / products or have any general advice.

I am new to bagging but confident in my welding and fabrication skills.

Thanks

Might want to mention how 'bolt-in" you want this kit. Might get you some better advice.

(I know the guy)

http://www.truckinweb.com/features/0706tr_2007_chevy_silverado_hardcore_hotrod/photo_06.html   here is a link of one they bagged but they did no notching.   "with such a high step built into the Silverado's stock frame, a C- or step-notch was not required to get the truck onto the ground"     What exactly does this mean?

that means the rear kickup (frame behind the cab.. under bed) has enough room for the axle to travel freely with out making a c notch...

I'm sure that comment was for a specific wheel size and overall drop. I'm pretty sure it all depends on wheel size and the drop wanted. If you want 30s and for it to lay door you might need to notch it where layign frame in 15s might not require it. All depends

Ok I get what you're talking about, Ideally you plan on notching the frame anyways but being that it has a high step, you may nt need to put a huge notch into it.  I'd have to determine how much would be needed. and to Artsar, Yes I know that its not going to lay doors.  Being that I don't plan on body dropping it, you want to get it as close to laying frame as possible and if this can be accomplished with no notch or a minor c notch, that would be ideal rather than having to put an 8" notch into it.  Anything to avoid cutting the bed floor all to shit would be nice but understandably, its never that easy.I'll be rocking stock 17's until I can afford some used 22's or 24's
