--------------------------------------------- Originally posted by EyeKandyDesigns Well wasn't even thinking about that...but yeah I actually can't even select my background or foreground now that I look at it...when I click on one or the other it just open the color picker menu...and yeah been using the alt key to do the reverse since this happened to select the foreground color...but when you get use to do something one way for years...agghh...any more suggestions or should I just give good ol Adobe a call? --------------------------------------------- now which color palette did you go to? the one on the left with all your tools, or the actual "color palette" on the right hand side where you have all the RGB/CMYK sliders? go to the one on the right side and make sure the foreground color has the black stroke around it, it's a very thin stroke but you can select it, and if you click it again then yes it will open up the color picker... but i'm fairly sure that's your problem, since thats the only way to color pick to the background and not the foreground other then ALT.
