trans on a 93 dakota

Im changing my moms trans in her 93 dakota and just need a little help before i do it ha ha, i got a trans off a 91 dakota should be the same rite? I can change the trans with out pulling the motor? I hope so, any tips would be great thanks, oh theres nothing i need to line up is there? like spline on shaft or something? Thanks everyone

Should be the same if it's from the same motor. You have to get the shaft lined up for it to slide all the way forward but that's not hard. You don't need to pull the motor, just get the truck up as high as you safeley can on jackstands to giveyour self some room to work. Oh, and be carefull unhook the lines from the side of the trans, one of mine was siezed and broke the fitting off in the tranny.
