whats up folks, i know some 1 will know how 2 fix this problem. i'm running a toggle switch for my 2 compressors i have on my truck. the toggle switch is ran 2 the solenoid and that solenoid gets really hot and eventually burns up. i was curious if there is n e thing else i could use so i dont have this problem n e more.

I had a door solenoid do the same thing. Was  ground problem, i ran larger wires & made sure I had them to a better grounding point! Hope this fixes your problem!

wired up wrong.....run relays, take the solenoid off.....relays work much easier and much more reliable/easy to replace....get you 2 30-40 amperage relays and wire em up and call it a day....

The ford solenoids are not intended for continuos use. You need to get  a heavy-duty soleniod like a Pac 80 or Stinger , like this W/ this you won't have to run 2 relays for your compresssors.

yea i have used the ford ones and even the ford rebuildable ones that are more heavy duty and still burned them...now running a stingger and had no probs yet
