Honda Guys, or anyone who knows seats,.. I need HELP!!!

I am looking for anyone who knows Honda Civics and others from 1992-1995. I picked up a set of seats to use for my girlfriends truck. They are the half moon style headrest seats that I thought were from a 1992-1995 Honda Civic. The ones that I got have an entirely hard plastic back on them, both drivers and passenger side. I need to get another set, but all of the ones I am finding, out of other Civics of the like years, have an upholstered back with a pocket on the passenger side. Now I am starting to think that these arent out of a Civic at all. I pulled them out of a wrecked CRX. They were not bolted into it correctly, and I know that they were not originally from that car. Any on e have any ideas?? Thanks, Sponge

Sponge, My 95 ex had seats with the pocket in the back on the pass side,  I think the hard plastic back ones are from a del sol

Thanx smuel001, but the Del Sol's, unless I am mistaken, only came with the very thin seats with the stripe down the center, and the head rests are not the half moon style. Any one else have any ideas? Thanks, Sponge.

are these the seats that you have now?



if so i beleive that the only ones that have a plastic back is the hatch back. the two doors and the four doors both have cloth backs.

i had a 94 civ cx hatch & the seats looked like above. the backs were soft & covered in vinyl.

Maxpower98,  The seats that I have look simaler to those, but there are no stitched seams in the cloth under the but or on the back. The headrests looked excactly the same. I took one of the seats apart to see if it had any markings on them or if they had been modified, but nothing. I will take a pic tonight of the one that is still assembled. Maybe that will help someone recognize them. Thanks, Sponge

Sponge ... have you looked at any Geo Storms?  They are the only car I can think of that has no stitching on the front of the seat.

I checked ... the headrests are wrong. But I thought I remembered they had those sidemount headrests like the Civics.

Chris, I know what yourare saying. I thought of the Storm seats also, but I havnt seen any years that had the half moon style headrests. The only car I can think of is 1992-1995 Civics. Ive looked at both the 4 door, the 2 door, and hatch backs, but all the ones I look at have cloth back with a pocket on the passenger seat. I will take some pics of the seats tonight and post them up so everyone can see what I have. I cant imagine that these were custom made,... they look too much like something that came off an assembly line. I'm starting to think that I am nuts!!
