hey guys pretty easy questions who makes the best shocks for bagged trucks i want something thats gunna get my truck running pretty smooth
i have alot of cracks around town where i live so yeah....this  will be going on a 1994 chevy truck single cab 2 link rear and conticobags and they  are not on the side they are located on top the the axle as for the front im using stock control arms and slam bags.
and one last question do shocks really make a big difference even if they where just cheap shocks? thanks

I like Doetsch Tech shocks!

bilsteins mounted as close the the rear end as possible, no extreme angles and dont let the shock completely bottom out or fully extend that will lead you to longer shock life, if you have trouble finding shocks, most auto parts stores books have the collapsed and extended lengths in them good luck.. dont skimp on shocks, that cheaper brand will be cheap now but you will replace 5 sets before you realize you should have bought bilsteins

i use gabriels....i dont have alot of option here in the sticks...so i use something i can replace cheap...maybe not the best thing to do but i have a two link and mine rides excellent...

I'm with smithchassis! I will never go back after using Bilsteins.

Same here. Plus Bilsteins have a lifetime warranty. I blew my Doestch Tech's out after 18 months, bolt Bilsteins on, and the ride improved tenfold. I won't ever use anything else on my own vehicle again, and I try to sell every customer on them. They are only about $10 more per shock than the high end KYB.
