I am about to start bagging an suv and I am wanting to retain as much room as possible in the rear as well as the back seat. stock if possible.I would like to keep the solid axle but if it would be easier in the log run to do an irs setup I could.I also thought about getting a two piece driveshaft to help reduce the amount it protrudes into the floor. Any pics and advice you could share would be greatly appreciated.

your best bet is a parallel four link with a watts link, so that you can keep the middle section open for feet/floor space.

There's a handful of options really. IRS can work well, but so can a torque-bar set up. It depends on your tire size and vehicle dimentions which way I would go.

I never plan to run anything larger then a 28in overall diameter tire. Its an isuzu rodeo so its a smaller suv similar in size to a blazer I guess. The more options the better so whatever you think of just let me know.

On that I would probably entertain an IRS.
