i'll let you guys see the pics first:

So here's the story:
My stepdad drove this regularly to work because it was better on gas than his 1990 Dodge Ram LB. One night on the way home, a bunch of cars were stopped because an ambulance was coming and he didn't hear it and didn't stop in time and hit the back of a newer body style Dodge Dakota. They didn't have the money or the time to invest in putting it back together and so, at the cost of an upconvert dvd player, this 1992 Honda Accord became mine.

So here's the plan:
I've already gotten just about all the parts i need to rebuild her (a/c compdenser, hood latch, radiator w/ 2 fans, reservior, and headlights).  All I really need now is the core support and a hood.  In case you were wondering, the bumper cover came off clean in the wreck, it literally came off and throw aside with a few small scratches.  I plan on rebuilding her by chopping the old core support off and welding a new one up, installing the necessary engine components and getting her road worthy again.  This car will be my daily driver once I get her back on the road so that I can park my Isuzu and really begin work on it.  I plan on putting in a nice audio system to have some tunes to roll to and pretty much leave it stock.  I might throw in a few mods here and there down the road but that's about it for now.

So lemme know what you guys think. I'll post progress pics up as soon as I get to work more on it.

Looks like you have your work cut out for you......  sounds like you have a good plan though. _ love having my honda wagon around so that i can drive it to work, and save all the winter wear and tear on my "good rides" too.

Got a little work done on it yesterday, goin to work on it a little more today, but here's some pics of what I accomplished yesterday.   Got all the a/c lines outta the way and drilled out all the spot welds on the passenger side support.     here's a close up of the support.     here's a pic comparing the old with the new.     for the moment i've got the passenger side support bolted up along with the mid-section of the support. i'll get some welds done on it later. at the moment i'm trying to get this car on the road asap.

been about two weeks or so since i posted some progress on the car. there was a cut in the filler neck going to the gas tank from where they tried to syphon the gas out because they'd just put a full tank in before it got wrecked. that was a major pain in my ass to fix but i got it fixed. i bought a radiator and the fans off of a guy i know for $20. seemed like a good deal but the radiator was shit but i still used the fans. i went out and got a new radiator and wired up the fans, threw some coolant in it and it cranked right up with the help of jumper cables. its been sitting for four months since it had been cranked. i found me a hood at Pull A Part for cheap which i'll probably just throw some primer down on seeing as it'll just be my daily. all it really needs now is headlight bulbs and a new battery, then throw the front back on and hit the road. well heres the pics: heres the new radiator   here's it all mounted up in the car with the fans bolted to it    just a pic of the front end with the pass. side core support bolted up   and one with the new/old hood on and my girl inside wiring up the cd player harness
