bodydropped flareside ranger what is the largest tire size i can run on my 18s without hitting the flares? i've got a few different answers from a couple guys. i wanna know what size tire everyone has successfully ran. I currently have 225/40/18s will they work? they're FWD offset (+44 I think) so I can leave em or push em out with spacers/adapters if needed so offset isn't any concern for me.

I am pretty shure that a 225/40/18 will hit when laid out...Atleast from what I seen on a friends truck they rub when dragging

but with a 44 offset it might be alright with them tires

offset plays a major role.

I don't plan on dragging it. already have dragged this truck to death, part of the reason I wanna build a new frame. the old ones pretty beaten. but I don't want it to touch regardless. thanks for the input guys...anyone else ever run a size this big?

Colby from AA PA ran a 20 on his all the way around BD with a 255 30 20 I  believe, on a normal flareside bed. Don't think it worked out too well for dragging though... lol

yeah i know and he also rubbed through the bed with his 18s lol. of course he dragged through a healthy amount of rocker as well.
