My heat blower quit on the way to work this morning. I removed the glovebox, checked the 2 fuses under there , and hooked 12V directly to the motor from my car battery charger and the motor ran like a champ. Everytime i throw the fan switch all i hear is a click from the relay. The relay will click, no power to the plug for the fan motor. Im thinking of replacing the 5 prong relay, anyone have any other ideas as to why this could be happening? Also wheres the ground for the blower motor?

The wiring on the truck is stock mostly there is a carb'd chevy 305 and 2 speed powerglide trans in it. Not a recent swap and the fan has always worked before. Thanks in advance for the help guys.

It's probably that relay, blower motor switch, or the reiostat(don't know how to spell it).  If it doesn't work at all on any setting it's either the relay or the switch.  If it works on some of the motor settings and not the other it's a reiostat.

 It was the relay.
