what kind of primer should I use ?

Well I will be putting my truck in primer soon and it will be that way for atleast a year and I was told that certain primers have to be covered with paint right away and they will not hold up as a finish...What primer should I use?..here is a pic

I don't really know. But if it was me I would call my local autorefinishing supply store and talk to the people there. They should be able to tell you which primer to use.

i used spectra prime i got it at my local car quest. its shiny as hell for primer and would hold up for a long time. and tintable.
